Personality Portrait

These two pictures really show Alex's personality! She can be really fun and crazy or she can be not so fun to be around! haha

Best Frienndddd! Alex really didnt want her picture taken, so it was pretty hard to get a decent photo. This is what I came up with out of all of the pictures I took!

Bubbles!

Molly blowing bubbles. I like how there are a few bubbles that actually appear in this picture. I also like how the swing chain is in the picture too! I think the chain makes this a little bit more interesting.

Here is Jazmine blowing some bubbles. I think Jazmine and Molly had the hardest time blowing bubbles! ;) I like the background in this picture. It is simple but interesting.

Molly trying to blow bubbles! It was kind of funny to do this assignment, because some people couldn't barely blow a bubble! I also like how there is one blurry bubble at the top of this picture.

This is a picture of Jenna! I like this picture because it is of the photographer. Usually when you are looking at pictures, you only see the "model" but it is different here.

Kristen! I really like this picture because it is just of her face, and you can see the bubbles being blown. I also really like how its right up close and then the background is just white. I did not take this picture though. Jazmine took this picture of Kristen when she was using my camera.

Best Of!

This is one of my favorite pictures that i took this year. I took this picture for the "Light and Shadows" assignment! I like how the flowers are very in focus, and then the background and the shadows of the flowers are blurry.

For this picture, I really like how the shadows are very accented (Not sure if that is the right word?) I like how the whites are white and all of the shadows are very dark or black. This photo was taken for the "Lines in Nature" assignment.

One day after school, I went with my neighbor to go take care of her horse. While we were there I took some pictures of him. It was pretty hard to get some good ones since he was always moving! I don't remember what assignment this was for but I really like how the background is completely white and covered in snow. I also like how even though the background is white, you can still make out the different things.

I'm not sure what assignment this picture was taken for either, but I think that this picture really turned out well with the light shining through the ice, and making a faint glow to it.

I love the way this picture looks. I like how the picture is panoramic, and that the trees are silhouettes against the sun.
This picture kind of has an "old feel" to it. I don't know why but to me it does. I like how the picture is gray, and how you can see many interesting things in the background other than the main subject.

This picture was taken in the arboretum around January-February. I like how all of the trees seem to be going towards the middle, and I like how they are black against the bright sky.

My dog Benji! I was home for a couple of days after surgery, so I was pretty bored while everybody was at school. I decided to go outside and take some pictures for one of the assignments that was coming up. I like how my dog is laying in the middle of some dandelions. I think that this picture would have been pretty boring if it weren't for the dandelions.

So, I couldn't decide between this picture or the picture below, of which one I liked better! I have likes and dislikes about both of them, which made it even harder to choose from. I like how in this picture you can see many trails of water, which make this interesting. I don't like how you have to really look in the back to see them.

I like how this picture has very accented water trails, but i do not like how this photo appears almost straight on.

Graduation - Open Theme

Well, Brooke Graduated! This is a picture of her class at Graduation. I like how this picture looks like a panorama. I wish the peoples' heads on the bottom wouldn't have gotten in this picture though!

My cousin Matthew.. I was taking a whole bunch of pictures of him at Brooke's party, because you never know what he's going to do! I have a bunch of pictures of him making dumb faces at me. but I wont post those ones.. haha. I like this picture because Matt isn't making a dumb face, it is very clear, and there is no distracting background. This shows Matt's personality because he is allways wearing that hat...everywhere! This picture also shows that Matt is a happy person and fun to be around. (most of the time)

My aunt made these cookies for Brooke! They definitely represent Brooke! with the cowboy boots since she is obsessed with everything country, the graduation hats because she was graduating, and the horse shoes for "good luck" or because she likes riding horses too.

Just a couple of people from my crazy family! Nothing too special about this picture. This kind of shows how my family is, because there is 1 girl with 4 other guys. Thats pretty much how it is all the time since our family consists of mostly guys!

I love Alexa's expression in this picture! Alexa came to Brooke's graduation party with her family, since Brooke babysits them! While Alexa was bouncing on the bouncy house I got this picture of her. I wish this picture would have been more in focus when I took it!

Brooke's signature picture frame. Again, there is nothing to special about this picture. I think the background is a little bit distracting from the main focus, but everything in this picture also has something to do with Brooke, so it all goes together in one way or another..

Land of Giants Re-Edit

I decided to re-edit this picture to make me brighter. My face might be a little too bright compared to the guy's, but it is very similar to the brightness of the girls' faces!
