Favorites from around the web-2012

I really like the way this picture looks with hundreds of stars in the sky and then all of the lights shining from the ground that appear a kind of gold color. This photo was taken by Jim M. Goldstein.

This is another one of Jim M. Goldstein's photos. I would say that the main subject in this photo is the star trails. I really like how there is a main point that the stars are traveling around. Also, i like the colors of the sky.

This photo was taken by Denise Goldberg. The rocks and water are the main subject, and the mountain in the back is the secondary subject. I like how the mountain appears kind of faded and almost appears like a shadow.

This is another photo taken by Denise Goldberg. The main subject is all of the little ducklings. This photo turned out well because only the ducklings are in focus.

This is a picture of an otter eating a fish. the otter is the main subject of this photo. This is a cool picture, because this is something that we do not see everyday. I really like how only the otter and the fish are in focus so that you can really  concentrate on those two things. This picture was taken by Matthijs van Renselaar.

This is a picture of cherry tomatoes dropped in water. The tomatoes are he main subject of this picture. This picture turned out really well because you can see all the details in the tomatoes, and all the bubbles are also in focus. Matthijs van Renselaar took this photo.

This is a picture taken by Jacob F. Lucas. I like how the water looks kind of "soft" in this picture. Also, the bridge in the background makes this picture look better.

This picture was also taken by Jacob F. Lucas. I really like how the waterfall is lit up, and how there are hundred of stars in the sky. The colors in the sky make this picture even better.

This picture was taken underwater. I think underwater picture look very cool, because it is pictures of things we don't normally see. What i like about this picture is how the sun rays are shining through the hole in the cave, right on to the scuba diver. This picture was taken by Suzy Walker.

This is a picture of a clown fish near an anemone. This is also something that we do not see everyday, which makes the photo even cooler. I like how the fish's mouth is open. The fish is the main subject of this photo. Suzy Walker took this photo.
