This is one of Linda's photos of the desert. I think this picture is really good, because the shape of the sand is a triangle, and then the sand has some really cool designs in it.

This is a picture of a staircase taken by Linda. I like how the staircase has a weird shape to it from this view.

Michael Kenna

Michael Kenna is a professional photographer that is best known for his black and white landscape photos. Michael's pictures usually focus on unusual landscape with ethereal light. He gets this light by taking pictures at night or dawn, and with exposures up to 10 hours. He has showed his work in Asia, Australia, Europe, and the United States.  This is a picture of the sky and trees. I like this picture because The trees are in one spot, but it looks like the sky was moving a lot. I also like how the trees are black, and its just like a shadow of trees against the gray sky.

This is a picture of a baby elephant. This is a good picture because The elephant is the only dark object in the photo which makes it stand out better. I also like how the light around the elephant is bright.
